We mail to all destinations in South Africa with TheCourierGuy, Postnet-to-Postnet, SAPO Domestic Parcels and SAPO Speed Services.

Anything you order will be packed into a corrugated cardboard box before it is sent. However, despite our best efforts, damage can happen in transit. Parcels can be insured, but obviously it adds to the courier costs. It is up to you as the customer to decide whether you would like to insure your parcel.

Please understand that Grumpy’s Bazaar cannot be held responsible for any damaged or lost parcels that are not insured.

Here is an overview of the insurance options offered by the various couriers.

THECOURIERGUY: Road freight parcels can be insured at a rate of 2% of the contents value. It’s not possible to insure the contents of a R100.00 Courier Bag.

POSTNET: Parcels can be insured at a rate of 3% of the contents value.

SAPO: Domestic parcels can be insured at a rate of 3% of the contents value.

SPEED SERVICES: Speed Services parcels can be insured at a rate of 3% of the contents value.
