We play the music in our bedroom through a bass box and two small speakers. Effective, but not much to look at. We needed a more elegant housing… something with a vintage radio feel.

A pal of mine is a collector of hand wood planes and has a sizable collection.

For his birthday, I imported a miniature hand plane (only 90mm long) and build a custom wooden box for it – mainly from kiaat with lid inlays of American Walnut and Spruce. The base has a cork lining to protect the exposed cutting surface of the blade. Hopefully it will become an heirloom for his only grandson.

The overall size of the box is 145mm by 85mm by 55mm high.

Display box for a 1/24 Scale Porsche racing car, built for a local collector.

Aerosol Spray Can Race Car II. This one was built for a model collector friend of mine.

Nutcracker soldier made from scrap cardboard for the 2024 Festive season. Around one metre tall.
